Cybersecurity is screaming for a paradigm shift: entrepreneurs often think it will not affect their business. Until it does. ABN AMRO approached us to help leverage their vast knowledge of cybersecurity. We envisioned, validated, built and launched a solution called Trusty.
In a hybrid team of experts (of ABN AMRO and ourselves), we went through a series of experiments. It was important that everyone understood how entrepreneurs think and feel about cybersecurity.
We continued into iterative experiments to better understand the problem and investigate solutions worth building:
In one week, we developed 12 propositions and ran experiments to test 5 of them with our Startup Scan™. The clear outcome was: entrepreneurs want to receive alerts and support when a cyber threat is imminent.
With a problem and concept for a solution ready, we transitioned to product. We iteratively worked on branding, UX/UI, an app, backend and infrastructure, continuously validating what we built.
In just five weekly sprints, we managed to realize a working product, build awareness via landing pages and find over 500 beta users. The MVP launched in private beta and we are now running deeper experiments and validations. The group of interested entrepreneurs grows on a daily basis.
To envision what Trusty can become, a roadmap for add-ons, new target groups and partnerships are in place. As of right now, we’re running tests and (Facebook) campaigns to expand the brand. Trusty to the rescue!
